I was thinking of doing the same for my buddy whos stag is coming up soon. Who pilots the boat, how much did it cost and how many of you were there? Were there pubs along the docks on the way up? Did ye stay over night on the boat?
(Maybe you should get a commission from the Tourism Board for answering these questions!)
We piloted the boats, after a quick lesson(run)around the lake
We hired 2 boats which sleeps 7 each.For 1 boat about a grand(ish) but diesel and insurance is extra.. so is cleaning 
What we did was just buy a loads of Booze… we docked and slept on the boats.. it’s OK but don’t expect to get 5 stars! The boats we hired are fairly slow 5km for every half hour engine time etc… I would recommend it! and I’m amazed that no-one fell over board..
