I’m off to France for a wedding in September, it’s near Lyon. The flights cost 250+ euro, a bit expensive for 3 days but what the hell it’s a wedding. I’ve never been to Lyon so after the wedding I’ll have a day to do some sight seeing. I plan to rent out a car, I still have a provisional so I have applied to a emergency re-test(some bullshit required). Accommodation comes next, my sister is booking that so it is one less thing for me to worry about.
On a side note:
As of 1 Aug I will be homeless, sniff sniff.. But all going well and my insider sources I should be able to get a head start on apt finding.
That is all!

It’s been a week since I went to Galway. It was a perfect 2 days as the sun was shining
I went to see some framworks short film.. It is really hit and miss with the quality, which is unfortunate! But as the weather was too good, spending most of the day indoors would have been blasphemy. I drove to “Coral Beach” it is a pretty small beach, wear flip-flops if you go as some of the coral is sharp.
The water was so clear that we decided to go for a swim… Jumping into the sea known that its very very cold, takes a bit or courage
after a bit of hesitation I got the courage up and jumped in.. Where I suddenly understood the hesitation in the first place, IT was damn COLD, but after a while I got use to it.
The drive back was a bit depressing, the closer I got to Kilkenny the harder it rained

I’ve now just confirmed accommodation with Jury’s hotel, is smack bang in the center of town so
I think there are a few place still available around as i was doing some checking:
hostelgalway.com
galway.goireland.com
travelireland.org
Most of the cheap accommodation is gone and its mainly B&B’s or hostels that are a good few km’s from Galway City that are left.
Such is life i suppose

I read a few book over the last month..
Popular music
This is a swedish novel about life up in the north of Sweden(Arctic Circle). It’s very funny and shows how hardcore you need to be able to live in this part of the world.. It’s set in the 1960 from a perspective of a teenager growing up.It is well worth the read and come away with and understanding of Swedish culture in the north is completely different to South Sweden. My father lives in a place called Lycksele, which is in north Sweden.
This is a good read and I would highly recommend it.
Perfume
I think everyone should read this book,I must admit that it has to be one of my favorite books.I was the film before I read the book.. and i do think in the film they put the more emphasis on killing rather than in the book its on the making and smell of perfume.
I really enjoyed reading this book and for anyone who watched the film its worth the read.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
This book is a strange one, It’s funny in a really weird way.Its about a boy who has Asperger syndrome Its a really interesting way to right a book in my opinion, the story is very easy to get sucked into… For some light reading, I would recommend this.
I also read some other books that i can’t remember now… Brain too tired…
to be continued…
