I’m taking my holiday at the start April, on the 4th(wednesday) I fly to paris and fly back on the 9th (sunday). I’ve never been to paris before, so going on my own will be a learning curve as my french is anything but good. I bought a phrase book a few months ago… So I have a few weeks to learn some phrases, and will be practicing it on some of the french people that work in the studio.
I have plans to visit the Eiffel Tower,Notre Dame Cathedral,Musee du Louvre and much much more. I sure that they alone will keep me ocuppied for a few days.. I also know some people in paris that I will be dropping a line too, so unless they are out of town at the time I won’t be all alone; sniff, sniff.
Other than that I haven’t made any plans for anything else, but I sure I’ll survive for the few days I’ll be there.
Paris, here I come! (for a much needed rest)
that is all!
Tip – when in Paris – always introduce yourself in Irish. They won’t understand you – then ask them if they speak any English (in French of course). That way they know you are not English as they tend to discrimate against them, and catagorize us as being English too, therefore treating you badly.
Enjoy your trip.
Niall.
